Les Mills International (LMI) creates the world’s most popular group exercise programs. We have 30 offices around the globe delivering our programs to 16,000 gyms where they are taught by 100,000 instructors to millions of people each week. Les Mills China (LMC) represents Les Mills across China and Korea with more than 250 fitness facilities as customers and over 600 certified instructors. 

And we’re just getting started.

LMC is in an exciting expansion phase and is ready to launch two new product categories; LES MILLS™ GRIT and Les Mills BORN TO MOVE™, a new series of fitness classes for young people. You will be part of a team that aims to triple the number of club customers in 5 years. We seek a world-class Marketing Director to develop and execute our Annual Marketing and Communication Plan. 

The Role

• Develop and recommend LMC’s Annual Marketing, PR & Communications Plan,. 

• Contribute to overall strategic direction and leadership of the LMC

• Ensure effective management and spend of marketing budget when implementing the agreed annual plan

• Identify and develop appropriate market and consumer research

• Lead the development of the New Product Development process and embed within the LMC business

The Candidate

• ‘Live’ the Les Mills brand

• Extensive marketing and PR/communication experience, industry knowledge and passionate about health and fitness 

• Strategic and commercially astute with an innovative and ‘design thinking’ mindset

• Bilingual – Mandarin and English

• Excellent presentation and communication skills

• Can demonstrate a customer focus and ability to deepen our customer relationships 

This is a significant leadership appointment aimed at moving us toward our 2020 global goal of having 100 million people per week participating in a Les Mills health experience. We are looking for someone who has the skills and passion to contribute to our vision of creating a fitter planet.
